30 year old Evan Daugherty is having a good year. First his script for 'Snow White and The Huntsman' sells to Universal Studio for 3.2 million, but he also gets hired to write the script for the book adaptation of 'Divergent.' In the latest interview with Evan, he mentions 'Divergent' and Lionsgate. Which studio that was going to make'Divergent' has been up in the air since Lionsgate bought Summit Entertainmentearlier this year. Summit hasn't entirely disappeared as a company and has still put out movies, so 'Divergent' fans have been waiting to find out which movie studio would be moving forward with 'Divergent.' Thanks to the Huffington Post we get answers to both questions! The movie isn't on the chopping block because Daugherty is still working on it according to the interview and he tells us that he is doing it for Lionsgate. This is not surprising after the great success of Lionsgate'sother dystopian movie 'The Hunger Games'. Are you excited by this Divergent Fans?
